Travel Allowance
Candidates who are attending their SSB Interview for the first time for a particular Commission, then they will be reimbursed for the cost of the shortest route AC-III Tier/AC Chair Car or actual regular bus ticket. Any address changes must be communicated to the Board well in advance. You must give the Board a hard copy of your bus or train ticket in order for the Board to pay your TA. According to the established regulations, TA will be accepted for all other forms of transportation. Candidates must have a canceled cheque with them when they want their payment to be transferred directly to their bank account. Additionally, candidates are asked to bring twenty copies of current color photographs in the size of a passport, taken in light clothing against a white backdrop.

List of Documents one should carry for the SSB Interview
During an SSB (Services Selection Board) interview, it is essential to carry the following documents:
- Admit Card: The admit card or call letter, issued by the SSB, serves as proof of your eligibility to appear for the interview. It contains important details such as your roll number, date, and venue of the interview.
- Original Identification Proof: Carry valid original identification proof such as an Aadhaar card, PAN card, passport, or driver’s license. This is required for verification purposes.
- Educational Certificates: Carry all the original educational certificates and mark sheets from class 10th onwards. These documents validate your academic qualifications.
- Original/Provisional Graduation Degree/Post Graduation Degree Certificates and Mark Sheets of each year/semester should be provided for verification of educational qualifications and to determine eligibility for the course. It is important to note that the Provisional Certificate issued by the college Principal will not be accepted, but the Provisional Degree Certificate issued by the University is acceptable.
- For final year/semester students, a certificate from the college Principal is required, clearly stating the following details with the appropriate stamp and seal of the institution:
- Name of the college.
- Name of the university.
- Discipline in which the graduation/post-graduation was pursued.
- Aggregate percentage.
- Likely date of the final result declaration (in DD/MM/YYYY format).
- Character Certificate: It is important to obtain a character certificate from the school or college you attended. This certificate should provide details about your conduct and behavior throughout your academic tenure.
- Domicile Certificate: If applicable, carry a domicile certificate that proves your residential status in a particular state or region.
- NCC/Sports Certificates: If you have participated in NCC (National Cadet Corps) or any sports activities, carry the original certificates to showcase your achievements.
- Candidates who are employed in Central/State Government or Public Sector Undertakings should obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employers.
- If applicable, candidates should provide the original valid Commercial Pilot’s License issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
- Candidates should keep their inbound railway ticket/bus tickets for the purpose of refunding the Traveling Allowance.
- Recent Passport-sized Photographs: Carry a few passport-sized photographs that match the specifications mentioned in the SSB guidelines. These photographs may be required for documentation or identification purposes.
